STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO INFORMATION SECURITY AND PRIVACY
Blue Octopus Wifi SL (hereinafter referred to as OCTOPUS) It develops and operates an omnichannel cloud connectivity platform that adds value to telecommunications infrastructures, equipping Wi-Fi networks with distinctive digitalisation features, such as connectivity and automated marketing. The Octopus platform creates a Wi-Fi hotspot that automatically controls and manages user access to public and private networks.
OCTOPUS’s management, recognising the importance of cybersecurity, has established the organisational structure, processes, tools and controls necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, authenticity and traceability of information, as well as the availability of the services provided to customers, in accordance with international standards, with the following objectives:
- To raise awareness and train staff in information security and privacy.
- To assess and address risks to information security and privacy.
- To prevent and respond effectively to information security and privacy incidents.
- To ensure the continuity of business operations.
- To proactively comply with legislation on the protection of personal data, intellectual and industrial property, and any other applicable legislation.
- To assess the effectiveness and efficiency of information security and privacy processes and controls.
- To continuously improve the management of information security and privacy.
Consequently, in light of all the above, the OCTOPUS management is committed to allocating the human and material resources that are necessary and proportionate to the achievement of the aforementioned objectives.
Responsibility for overseeing information security lies with OCTOPUS’s management, which delegates to the Information Security Officer the authority to implement and certify an information security and privacy management system (ISPS), with the support of the entire team.
